Active Transportation
Trails, bikeways, and sidewalks
Walking, bicycling, and rolling (using a wheelchair) are the most efficient way to get around, if streets are safe and destinations are nearby. By building better sidewalks, crosswalks, bikeways, and trails, we can also reduce greenhouse gas and air pollution, increase physical activity and improve physical health, and improve mobility for older adults and people with disabilities.

Unfortunately, today too many of our communities lack sidewalks, curb ramps, and safe streets. That's why Snotrac is working with Snohomish County, cities, and towns to prioritize building out ADA Transition Plans, and bicycle and pedestrian master plans.
